How much does it cost to
stay at Windover?
Accommodations at Windover vary in price and
amenities. You can “rough it” in a tent or stay in a Rental RV
with a TV, kitchen, Microwave, coffee maker, your own private bath. Whatever kind of
accommodations you choose you can make Windover as affordable as
you like. Navigate to the

page for all of Windover's rates.

Are there fire pits or
grills at each campsite?
Grills are not provided. All camp sites
have a fire pit on the site. Firewood is available
for purchase at the Windover's Store and guests are encouraged
to exercise safety and follow all rules when building fires in a
natural environment such as Windover.

Do I have to buy a
membership?
YES. Everyone who visits Windover –
overnight or just for the day – needs to have a current
membership. This is how we maintain the safe and private nature
of our resort.

Is clothing optional at
Windover?
No, Windover is not a clothing optional
campground.
|
Is there a restaurant at
the resort?
There is not a restaurant on the resort
property, but the Windover Store sells a variety grocery items
and
microwavable foods. There are several restaurants within a
10 mile drive of Windover.

How many people can stay on
one site?
Camping rates are for two (2) people a site and any additional guests is
$10.00.
Only two (2) sleeping structures are allowed per
site. Tenant may have (2) tents or (1) tent and (1) RV
on the site at a time. In addition, tenant may have a screen
house/dining canopy on site. |
Can I park my boat trailer
(or other kind of towable trailers) at the resort?
Yes, there is space provided in the back
parking lot

How rustic is Windover?
Although Windover is an outdoor resort, there
are indoor spaces such as our Clubhouse for inclement weather
activities. There are our newly renovated full bathroom facilities with showers and
flush toilets accessible to all areas of the resort.

Check in: 8 a.m. Check out: 12:00 p.m.

| How Rustic are the Rustic
sites? |
| Our Rustic sites do not have
water or electricity. There are water
spigots that are
available around the area. Each site has it's own fire pit, and each
site is nested in a cozy wooded area. |
Can I bring my own firewood
to Windover?
No. Because of a state wide quarantine,
absolutely no firewood can be brought to Windover during
2009. All firewood must be purchased at Windover or be a
pre-packaged and firewood product labeled as to its origin
purchased at a local store. Please visit the link on our
Notice's page to learn more about this statewide ban and why
Windover must enforce this law.

Can I Bring my Pet?
Friendly pets are welcome at Windover, our
tent sites, rv sites, and the rental trailers with only a few
restrictions. Pets and their people are expected to respect
other members by observing quiet hours; remaining on leash at
all times; cleaning up after themselves and never leaving the
resort without each other. Pets are not allowed in the pool area
and are also not allowed inside the Windover Store.

Can I bring my kids?
Windover Resort is a great place for any
woman 18 years of age and over, but minor children are not allowed.

Can friends visit me at
Windover?
Your female friends over the age of 18 are welcome to visit you at
Windover. They must first check in at the office and purchase a
"One Time Only" Temporary Membership and a Day Pass.

website.
